Thanks for the update jimalaiyah....with pieces and bits we will be able to put this all together.

I will tell you that I did have a pre-production model in my hands for a couple of weeks several months back...I did like the device. It needed some "tweaks" but that was why it was called pre-production. Hopefully it will show, will have improvements and will be a hit!
I have a very definite fondness for iPAQs!

Cingular and potentially T-mobile will be carrying it in the states and Rogers mobile in Canada. I've found it for sale on a Canadian website for upwards of $660... y'all can do the math.

Cingular has told it's corporate retail stores that the hw6900s will be arriving in their Q04.... which I believe begins Oct 1.

This model's been available in Europe and Asia for a few months....

    That's all I got.

Yes, before yesterday, the HP site only said "Coming Soon," now it says "New." I've been unable to find anyone selling the new phone however...

Has anyone heard which wireless carriers will support this phone?

I would be so much more impressed if HP could get their existing models to work properly.
I certainly won't be buying another HP product after this horrible, bug ridden, unsupported disaster of a 2790.

We have been getting info on this device from back as far as February but I do believe that seeing the word NEW on the picture indicates that the time is close.

I don't recall seeing that before...but at my age, I am starting to not recall a lot...lol

That's been up on the HP site since April.
