Aving USA had this item up which gives you reason to think twice about just player you might want to get.

KNC announced the launch of MP4 Player ‘HR-28′ in China market. It provides following services: movie, music, game, image viewer, photo, video file.
This can be connected into TV to play all kinds of contents such as video file, movie bookmark equipped with 3.6′ 1600 megafixel LTPS screen.
Also supports MP3, WMA, FLAC music files and MPEG4 AVI video files.

And then I saw that Engadget had it up with this important tidbit:

While the amount of goodies crammed into the HR-2800 may garner praise, the real applause goes to the price — at just CNY999 ($127), we’ve got to wonder if these KNC folks aren’t just skimming the market.
