The NW-S700 players deliver flash memory in a choice of 1GB, 2GB or 4GB, a 3 line display, FM tuner, playback for mp3, atrac, pcm and AAC/WMA and the ability to record from external audio sources direct to PCM or ATRAC3Plus.

This player also features a quick 3 minute charge for 3 hours of playback or a 2 hour full charge for up to 50 hours of playback. Additionally, Sony claims that this is their best ever sounding Walkman ever due to the integrated noise cancellation and bundled 13.5mm EX earbuds with integrated in-line Mic. This, according to Sony, yields 25% less noise.

They are hitting Japan this month in several colors for between $125 and $242, but no word on the US release.
