Aximsite’s Hot Mods – Axim Sleeve and External Antenna

It seems that the gurus over at my other site, Aximsite, have been busy! In October two of our members completed some serious Axim Modifications that warrant a look. I don’t recommend trying them unless you know what you are doing, but they both are very cool mods.
We have two of these super mods to share, afarre’s Axim Sleeve and Zeile’s External Axim WiFi Antenna!
afarre completed an Axim Sleeve that does everything except washing dishes.
"After a lot of work and time I finally finished my jacket like magic box with following features:
- VGA out
- Serial port with circuit for TTL to RS232 signals conversion.
- Car charger
- Input for 5v Dell power supply (includes protection against connecting 12v and 5v at a time)
- PDA USB client connector.
- USB HUB x4 (powered when applying 5v or 12v)
- Audio preamplifier with double format output (RCA and mini-jack connectors)"
Ziele also shared with Aximsite, his WiFi antenna mod. He is a long time member of Aximsite, but only has a couple posts. He orignal shared his creation with PDAclub.pl, but shared some of the steps with us.
Thanks to Werner for posting this at PPC Mag.
