Arne Hess from the::unwired reported today that i-mate has officially released the JAQ3 Pocket PC Phone Edition at GITEX 2006

The JAQ3, which is based on a TechFaith Wireless reference design, is a dedicated messaging phone that boasts the many familiar applications of Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC.

Designed with user preferences in mind, its full QWERTY keyboard, five navigation buttons and scroll wheel allow for easy navigation and use of services including E-Mail, the JAQ3 definitely competes with the Palm Treo 750.
