Review – Odyssey Mobile GPS Navigation

Mr. GPS, Jake Richards reviews Odyssey Mobile. Infogation’s Odyssey Mobile is an award winning full-featured GPS navigation application that provides accurate vehicle positioning and turn-by-turn directions. 

I have a love-hate relationship with Odyssey Mobile navigation system. I love the interface, the speed is absolutely incredible, the voice is pleasant, the maps are good, the routing is logical and the way it functions shows a lot of careful thought. The designers have really built a nice package that has left the other mapping vendors in the dust in many ways. However, I hate that it won’t reliably run on my VGA Dell Axim X50v. I can get it running, and when it does, it’s a really sweet package, but getting it to run is a royal PITA.  So, I love it, I hate it.
