Steve Laser reviews the new DVD Encoding software from SPB Software House.

In Summary
This movie took two and a half hours to convert. The picture was fantastic. Because of the preview window, I was able to fill up the screen on my pda and have a larger picture rather than a picture that is cut off on the top and bottom as I normally get when using Fairuse. Fairuse offers more options, for example, I can choose the audio type and quality, the exact size of the output file, and a few other things. It also let me encode only the movie and not the previews. However, it took forever. Take a look at the screenshot and you’ll see what I mean. Sure, it’s free, but Spb offers features that make it a very serious contender.
