It’s been all over the net today and I had decided not to do anything with this item until a few minutes ago.  As I was checking my feeds, I saw the RicaVision Remote and all I could think of was that it would be a killer remote if it had Windows Mobile on it … imagine the possibilities.

SideShow is most definitely a very slick new feature in Vista Media Center. You get a huge amount of control and with the ability to use a secondary display, imagine the possibilities if it was on your remote control and imagine if it could also utilize the Windows Mobile platform.

One thing is for sure, there are remotes on the drawing board … only time will tell how cool they will be.

PVR Wire had in their article today that:

The Ricavision remote, (and possibly the others) will be able to work with any Gadget set to run on Vista’s SideShow Control Panel. That means you’ll be able to check eMail and RSS feeds as well as play music or schedule recordings using the remote’s 2.5-inch 320 x 240 pixel screen.

Oh … think Windows Mobile!
