If you are looking forward to getting your hands on a Palm Treo 750 in the US, here are a couple Vodaphone Branded 750 reviews that have been published today.
MitchellO over at Gear Diary and Chris Davies at Slashphone…
I agree that the Treo form factor has been superb and I was really looking forward to the 700w on Verizon last year at this time. Once I did get my hands on it, the Q was out making it not as fabulous. A year later and three other Palm Treos through my hands, I am still waiting on that beloved GSM version on Cingular’s (err At&t’s) network. Bring it on.
"Overall I am very happy with the Treo 750v. It would be nice if it was thinner, but it is still quite a reasonable size, and its contoured shape feels great in the hand. Its currently only available from Vodafone in Europe and a few other places, so if you want one now you will have to either wait for it to become available with your local carrier or import a Vodafone unit and have it unlocked. If you do, I think you will agree it’s worth the trouble :-D" – MitchellO
I think I will wait for a Cingular Version, I hate going through all the unlocking and such…
"So would I buy the Treo 750v myself, and more importantly would I recommend it to you? Well I’ve certainly learnt that push email and a full keyboard is something I now won’t do without, but I’m not sure if the 750v is the device that’ll be serving it up to me. The Nokia E61/E62, already reviewed by SlashGear, has a broader screen, more keyboard space and uses that excellent browser I’m so impressed with. Yes, it doesn’t have a camera, but the quality of the Treo’s photography wasn’t all that impressive, and I’d much rather have the Nokia’s WiFi. Still, the familiar Windows’ interface, easy to use controls and reassuringly solid build-quality of the Treo, coupled with reasonable performance in calls, would make it a sound choice for anyone looking for a QWERTY-enabled smartphone." – Chris Davies
