Last week, we posted on some info that leaked out about HTC 2007 plans and there was one of the phones that had no name. This one is the Star Trek looking phone done in silver and hopefully will be 100% updated. Mike over at Smartphone Thoughts found out the scoop, it’s called the HTC Erato.

At the end of 2006 we talked about the leaked HTC document that showed off all the up-coming phones for 2007. Among those phones was this unknown flip phone device. The details were interesting, but we didn’t know what to call it. That’s now changed – the upcoming Smartphone from HTC is now to be known by the codename “Erato

It’s really exciting to see what HTC is doing. Constant, quality, and increases in functionality. Their naming scheme has alot to be desired, but the phones are super. This roadmap also claims that the HTC Athena everyone is gaga over will retail for around $1700.00.

Some of the other phones on this road map for 2007 include the Love, Vox, Kaiser, Wings, Cavalier, Elf,  the Erato.
