Apple Shuffles Shuffle Lineup

It\'s is possible that the information within this article is now out of date or updated.

Less than two months after it’s introduction, Apple has made some changes to the new 2nd generation iPod Shuffle. When it was originally released, it came in one color (Silver), and it shipped with the first generation lollipop earbuds (the ones that hurt my ears after only 20 minutes). Well, Apple has corrected both of what I consider minor problems.

The Shuffle now ships in five different colors, the same as the new Nanos, but with an extra one only available for it. The new orange looks very cool, and compliments the others well. There is no change in specs or features, just more of a choice for what and where you wear your shuffle.

They are also shipping the second generation earbuds, ones that are cushioned and much nicer on the ear lobes. These are the ones that have been shipping with the 5th generation and Nanos for sometime. They are a well designed replacement to the lollipop ones. My ears were pleasantly surprised with how they feel.

So if you have been wavering about getting the shuffle, now is the time. Your choices have just expanded, and it is always nice to have options when you are buying.
