Engadgetmobile is reporting that Cingular plans to release the Palm 750 this weekend which would continue their renewed effort into the mobile pda phone market. Running Windows Mobile 5.0, the Palm 750 won’t be the home run with Palm Loyalists, and without Wifi, it’s uncertain whether or not the Cingular 750 will get any traction, especially with the momentum the Cingular Blackjack is enjoying.

"We can’t yet say for certain when Cingular will actually be selling the Treo 750, but they do like announcing new devices at CES (or not so new devices, as it were), and it looks like the US launch of the 750 is due this Sunday. "

We’ll keep you posted with more details as we get em’ and hope for some big news from Chris at CES on what’s next from Cingular and all our other favorite carriers.
