So you want a new device but just not enough cash in reserve to take the plunge?  It might well be the time to check out Verizon … prices are falling … dramatically.

Verizon has turned the heat up a bit on Cingular by cutting its prices on several devices and I would expect there will be more on the way.  In any event, if you have thought about a Palm device, Verizon Wireless dropped prices on several of its Treos. For example, the Treo 700p with or without a camera is selling at $300, down from $400 the previous week. The Treo 700w has gone from $400 to $250.

There just might be a deal for you ….
