This inexpensive computer runs on an AMD Geode processor and a 400Mhz processor with a built in VGA webcam. It will go for $150 and be made by several manufacturers who will put a bit of their own flavor into them. For example, Lite Appliances will try to separate themselves from the crowd by using a Blackfin processor from Analog Devices to save money, but use a custom OS with web browser, media player, IM and VoIP. Expect countries to start receiving bids for thousands of these units very soon. The bidding wars will heat up, and each feature added can make a major difference.
