Its still the close season in Formula one, but the teams are all getting busy for the start of the new season. At one end of the spectrum is Spyker and Trust.. but the catering budget for Mclaren and Vodafone would probably pay for most of Spyker.

Anyway, Vodafone are title sponsors of the Mclaren Mercedes team this season.

The title sponsorship including the team name ‘Vodafone McLaren Mercedes’ and ‘Official Mobile Partner’ of the team gives Vodafone; dominant Title Sponsorship branding on the new 2007 cars, drivers’ and pit crews’ overalls and helmets. As we enter into this exciting new partnership the associative rights acquired provide unique opportunities that will continue to raise brand awareness through the team name and branding.  The team partnership delivers a powerful integrated marketing platform through advertising, hospitality, mobile content, handset offers and promotions and through innovative activation will encourage preference and loyalty amongst Vodafone’s customers.

And to ‘celebrate’ the deal there’s a range of Mclaren phones… all in the McLaren Red and Silver livery.

There’s the 3G Vodafone McLaren Mercedes 770SH, the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Sharp GX29 and the  Vodafone McLaren Mercedes SGH-Z720M from Samsung.
