WildCharge Launches Universal Wire-Free Chargers for Mobile Electronic Devices.

This is one accessory I have been looking forward to.  It promises to offer a safe, convenient means of charging your devices.   WildCharge is about to introduce true full-power wire-free electricity for mobile consumer electronics. Sounds cool!

The WildCharger is a flat, thin charging pad that is capable of delivering up to 90 Watts of power — ample power to simultaneously charge and power most laptop computers and an assortment of small devices placed anywhere on its surface. Similarly, the WildCharger Mini delivers up to 15 Watts of power, capable of simultaneously powering and charging three or four small devices such as cellular phones, portable music players, digital cameras and other products.

The WildCharger and WildCharger Mini will be available to consumers during the first half of 2007 and are expected to be offered at retail prices of about $100 and $40 a unit, respectively. Plans are underway to release a higher power unit in the near future.

The technology’s universal applicability has sparked great interest from electronic, automobile, furniture and other manufacturing industries. Many companies in these industries are currently preparing to embed WildChargers in their products to be offered to consumers worldwide in the near future.

"WildCharge’s technology is more than a simple charging solution for mobile devices — it is a true revolution that will ultimately eliminate the array of tangled chargers, adapters and cords consumers currently deal with regularly," said WildCharge President Izhar Matzkevich while displaying various devices powered by WildCharge technology. "There’s no ‘trickle charge’ here. Our technology delivers instant power to all WildCharge-enabled consumer electronic devices as if they are connected directly to an electric outlet, and," Matzkevich adds, "virtually any consumer electronic device can be readily WildCharge-enabled."
