Dgoldring reviews Atlantis Redux…

Overall, I found this to be a fairly mediocre game with exquisite graphics. Although the plot developed later in the game, I spent a great deal of time just trying to figure out who my character was supposed to be and what she was doing in the middle of the desert. I would have appreciated more back story in the beginning. The graphics, of course, are literally out of this world, which is appropriate for a game in which a crystal dolphin is one of your primary guides. I was frustrated, however, by the ending which provided no closure to the game. After the number of hours this game took, I felt players deserved a more complete experience which tied up all of the loose ends. Instead, the ending leaves you practically begging for a sequel which is not forthcoming.
