Gigabyte preps the g-Smart i+ for launch

Today, Engadget Mobile showed us another entry from Gigabyte. The g-Smart i+ slated to launch this month is a slick 130 gram handset sporting a stylish piano-black finish.
New features packed into this slightly smaller and lighter device include: triple-band 900 / 1800 / 1900 EDGE data, 192MB ROM — up from 64MB on the last outing — for storage, a built-in 12 button keypad, and support for 802.11g.
It appears from the information they had that the battery might well have a lot to be desired although there was nothing to really substantiate that. The also indicated thatinfrared was not included … does anyone use that?
