Vodafone and VoIP … always something new

It looks like Vodaphone is about to enter the world of VoIP by showing a new application they have at CeBIT. They did not say when (or if) they will launch this application but my guess is that they see the handwriting on the wall and they want to grab a piece of this technology.
Code-named Starfish, this application will allow a cellphone user to see their friends that are on MSN, Yahoo, AOL and Skype. Calls that are made will use traditional wireless voice channels to connect to the base station then will use the Internet.
