Dell Tablet Rumors Heat Up.

I had posted a snip here and there about this. I have been getting anonymous tips about this from reliable anonymous tipsters over at Aximsite for as far back as mid 2006. After about the 3rd seperate tip from a Round Rock IP address, I decided it had legs back on . The same day, I created a forum to discuss and speculate this rumor of the Dell Tablet.

Now that Kevin over at JK on the Run has let the cat out of the bag, I will confirm that info shared with me on is right on the money with Kevin’s report. The specs I was provided and the time frame match pretty close to earlier tips.

These are potential specs according to jkOnThe Run:

  • Intel Core Duo up to 1.2 GHz processor
  • Up to 2 GB of RAM
  • Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (up to 224 MB shared memory)
  • WXGA (1280 x 800) 12 ” widescreen
  • SATA hard drive (up to 60 GB)
  • Three primary battery options (4, 6, 9 cell)
  • Bluetooth, WiFi (a/b/g)
  • WWAN CDMA from Verizon

Jack posted about the JK on the Run report yesterday, but I had to chime in and add some value to this rumor. It has legs.
