A lot of folks have been asking for Google Desktop for the Mac and now you have it!  Google released Google Desktop for the Mac (v.1.0.0.155) today so I expect their servers are going to be very busy with folks downloading it. 

This is a FREE free application that indexes your Mac’s hard drive.

Product manager Rose Yao said “We designed Google Desktop for Mac to be a companion for Spotlight. Google Desktop searches users’ Web history, and you can set it up to search Gmail too.”
