At the CTIA Wireless 2007 conference I spoke with Ron Hassanwalia, Sales Manager at SOTI, Inc regarding future products from their company. He told me they are working on the successor to Pocket Controller 5.07 which is a big hit with a lot of users including Microsoft due to its ability to remotely work on your PDA on your computer screen using the skin of that device to increase overall emulation.  Well they are working on a major release that is rumored to be release around April 17th 2007.  Pocket Controller 6 will feature…

1.       A registry editor that you can use to modify your device for the comfort of your desktop

2.       New skin manager with PDA specs.  This is great if you are looking for a new device to purchase and you want to compare the products on the market today without leaving your house

3.       Office 2007 Interface. Using the new “ribbon” technology, accessing the menus in PC 6 will be easier than ever.

4.       Vista Capability. Although PC5 works in vista, PC6 has been enhanced to handle vistas new security features without much complications to the user

Stay tuned for more updates on this fantastic release.
