We 1st brought you news on this back in March, but now it appears to be ready to go!

“ASUS has finalized the details of its just-introduced P526 smartphone. While some details were released in advance, the finished version will still have its 2.6-inch touchscreen, GPS navigation, and quad-band GSM radio with EDGE Internet but will also make use of Windows Mobile 6 Professional, guaranteeing the inclusion of Office Mobile.”

With improved stability and speed and a host of messaging enhancements, the new Windows Mobile 6 Professional advances the Windows Mobile platform to let users enjoy the rich Window Live experience on mobile phones. It also aims to deliver business solutions and increase worker productivity by integrating many popular Windows Live mobile services so users can stay connected with their communities and find the information they require quickly and without hassle.

“The P526 is the perfect trendy PDA phone for users who want to utilize the user-friendly and “Live” functions of Windows Live,” said H C Hung, Head of ASUSTeK’s Handheld Business Unit. “Users will find it easy to make use of the P526 to stay connected to their friends and online communities with instant messaging chats, blog updates, e-mails and file transfers.”
