Concerned about Vista and your battery?

jkOnTheRun just might have a solution for you with a freeware program called Vista Battery Saver.  What does it do?  This utility is designed to automatically switch off Aero Glass and the Sidebar when your mobile PC switches to battery power.  That is a nice option if you have a concern about how long you can stay up and running.  According to James, it is configurable, provides you with total control over when the switch is made and exactly how it is done. 

It appears if the JKOnTheRun test labs that they are experiencing some great run times … so far.
