While at the UIQ Technology Developer Conference in Boston, I had the privilege of meeting some terrific folks.  Two fellows I met from DataViz made a presentation on their product that was a knockout!  Not only did they describe their product, explain its functionality but gave the developers there an understanding on the process that they use to get their product to work on multiple platforms, specifically the UIQ Platform.

For those of you that do not know, Documents To Go is a mobile office editor for Windows Mobile (and other operating systems) that allows you to view, edit and create Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files as well as view Adobe PDF files and to unzip files on your Smartphone … anytime, anyplace. What is terrific with this software is that you will never lose formatting when you make edits on your device.

Here is a brief interview with the DataViz folks …

You can visit DataViz here to look at their product line and see if it fits your needs … I bet it will!

Documents to Go is the 2nd most unstable piece of software I've ever encountered. The 1st is Microsoft Windows. 75% of the time I try to open a document of any sort in D2Go, it resets my Treo. This has been a problem through version 6, 7, & now 8. It's horrible!
