Is it bad enough that ebay is getting ready to be jam packed with people preselling iPhones soon? Now some con artist is selling a solid gold iPhone with a starting bid of almost $10k. Ouchie.  

“You will receive a Brand new Apple iPhone (4GB) 14 KART SOLID GOLD and all included accessories that come in box** iPhone will work with cingular”

This seller has a 99% rating on ebay, so how is he going to pull this one off?

• Paint it gold?
• add a real piece of solid gold in the shipped box, with an iPhone?
• Or just a total scam?

What would you do if you got taken on something like this?
