T-Mobile to allow Wi-Fi calls

Kent German from CNET News.com indicated in a story that T-Mobile is getting ready to begin a new service allowing customers to use Wi-Fi to make voice calls with their cell phones.  Very interesting but there is an additional charge on your monthly bill ($20) that makes it a little rich.

Hotspot at Home, which is currently in trials in Seattle, would expand on the carrier’s current Wi-Fi network of 8,000 Internet access hotstops. T-Mobile declined to comment on the rumors, which probably means the America’s fourth-largest carrier has something up its sleeve.
