I had the privilege of meeting with Andrew Till, the Senior Director of the Software Platform at Motorola Limited.  He gave a compelling presentation during the UIQ event I attended this week on the MOTORIZR Z8 and software development for the platform.  This morning we sat down for a brief moment and chatted about the Z8 (pronounced “zed 8″).

Below is a brief video with Andrew showing you some of the rich features of this device.

MOTORIZR Z8 QUICKSPECS

  • 2MP camera with 8x zoom
  • VGA camera for two-way video calling
  • Music player and playlists support MP3
  • Messaging: SMS, EMS, MMS 1.2
  • Email: SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, SSL/TLS
  • OTA download of applications
    and games
  • Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology
