Now this is cool and something I would expect that we will start to see at all events … especially the movies.  Order a ticket to an event and have it sent to your cell!  You go to the event, they scan the bar code on your device and your in!  Cool!

SlashPhone reported that the Washington Nationals  have become the first major organization in the United States to deliver event tickets to mobile phones.

Nationals fans who purchase tickets on the nationals.com Website can choose to have their tickets delivered to a mobile phone, via a MMS or picture message. The “digital ticket” is then scanned from the phone at a designated gate f allowing fans to quickly enter the ballpark.
