While, I am fascinated by the iPhone, I am not standing in line today or planning to get one. On my way to the grocery store this morning, I saw two police cars and an armored truck in front of the AT&T store, so I suppose the iPhone has arrived here.  I tried to get a photo as I drove by using my AT&T 8525 (aka HTC TyTN and Hermes). There didn’t appear to be a line (yet), but I didn’t look inside the store.

I do, however, know a few people who are in line elsewhere. MobilitySite and Aximsite owner and administrator, Chris Leckness, is one of those waiting. I talked to him earlier and asked if he was in line and he said “No, I am in the waiting area, sitting around talking to some people”. I don’t know about you, but to me, this sounds like standing in line! He is hoping to get a phone and get it activated (using the new iTumes 7.3 needed to activate the phone) tonight.
