missing-sync Please forgive this mess I have created. I was working on moving towards some of the changes and now I am forced to move forward. The update is taking much longer than I expected. The script running that is merging the user databases has been running since 7pm CST and is not even 1/2 done at 11:15pm. It is quite likely that this process will continue throughout the night (while I sleep). Hopefully it will be done when I awake.

When this process is done, functionality will be restored, but it’s gonna be a mess for a couple days. Please work with me while we work out the kinks and get all the functionality and organization back in place.

Testing comments. They aren’t gonna stay, we’ll return to forum commenting sooner or later, but for now… :)

Wow.. there must be some really big database queries running on those boxes…

Get a good night’s sleep… And we’ll have fun when it’s back.. it’s almost like moving house

I do like the new look. I understand the headaches caused when doing major works to forums.. I’m not looking to the ones we’re planning on later in the summer for a different site I admin at..

    Good luck Chris!

    Hey Chris,
Great news on that #6 above. Thank You and we are waiting to get back to internet… It feels empty when the first site I visit when I open my browser has “Maintenance” message.

Here is to AXIMSITE and MOBILITY SITE!
    Cheers

Chris, although you mentioned it would return to forum comments, is there any way to make comments sync with forums and keep them here as well. Anything written here by guests would be posted in forum as guest comments, and if we are registered, it would be posted as member.

Yeah, like you already don’t have enough things to do.. :D

This has been the worst twelve hours of my life. I feel like a smoker without cigarettes or a druggie without his heroin. I wan’t my aximsite :) Anyways, I wish you much luck with the database merging, and I am confident that aximsite will be cooler than ever before.
