A&E Television Networks Launches Mobile Video Channels for A&E Network and The History Channel

logo_inside A&E Television Networks and MobiTV announced today the launch of A&E Mobile and The History Channel Mobile. The made for mobile channels are available today on the MobiTV service via participating mobile carriers throughout the U.S.

The creation and distribution of A&E Mobile and The History Channel Mobile to wireless video subscribers in the U.S. is a step in AETN’s overall digital strategy to deliver its programs and services to viewers on multiple platforms.

A&E Mobile and The History Channel Mobile are distinct services from the linear channels. Acclaimed series such as Dogfights and Modern Marvels from The History Channel, and Dog the Bounty Hunter and Criss Angel Mindfreak from A&E Network, will be available on the mobile channels.
