INRIX Real-Time Traffic Now Available

inrixnew140px INRIX, the leading provider of traffic flow information, today announced its real-time traffic is available on over 75 models of portable and automotive navigation devices, mobile phones and smartphones in the U.S. With the broadest market coverage of real-time traffic flow information available — over 94 U.S. metropolitan markets and 50,000 miles of roads as well as 12 markets and 5,000 miles of roads available in the U.K. — device OEM’s and application providers are increasingly selecting INRIX traffic for integration across their navigation and traffic applications.

Consumers can gain immediate access to INRIX Real-Time Traffic Flow (speed) data via dozens of automotive and portable navigation device models using the popular Clear Channel Radio’s Total Traffic Network, broadcast via Clear Channel Radio’s unparalleled RDS-TMC delivery network, to
customers including BMW, MINI, Garmin, Tom Tom, Mio/Mitac, NAVIGON, Cobra Electronics, Siemens VDO and others. Additional device models leveraging INRIX Traffic via GPRS are expected to be available in fall, 2007. 

INRIX Traffic is also available for mobile phones and devices across the Sprint and AT&T network via TeleNav Navigator. INRIX provides traffic data solutions to other leading wireless navigation platform and application developers including TCS, Telmap, deCarta, eMbience, MobileGates and others. 

Additionally, consumers with Microsoft Windows Mobile smartphones and PocketPCs can access INRIX real-time and predictive traffic maps and key routes for over 106 metropolitan markets in the U.S. and U.K. via the INRIX Traffic for Windows Mobile application. 

INRIX Real-Time and Predictive Traffic Services leveraging the company’s version 3.0 traffic platform will be available to customers in August, 2007.
