Microsoft Wins Despite Xbox Losing

Well, this is an optimistic outlook on Microsoft’s finances. I am sure a profitable Xbox showing would be even nicer, but it’s good to know that you can make it up somewhere else. 1.2 Million Zunes can’t hurt either. The Zune might not be the “iPod”, but Microsoft sold more than I thought they would. ( I bought 4 of them )

Engadget put it well by saying, “These figures are boring to some, we’re sure, but there’s something kind of fun knowing that Redmond could probably afford to buy the world’s beaches at $1 per grain of sand.”
