T-Mobile Germany to Launch MDA Vario III

T-Mobile Germany confirmed the launch of the MDA Vario III during the IFA late next month and indeed it’s the HTC Kaiser. t-mobile_mda_vario_3_small

Features:

  • support HSDPA phase II at 3.6 Mbps (but not HSDPA phase III at 7.2 Mbps)
  • Windows Mobile 6 Professional
  • quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as triband UMTS/HSDPA (no UMTS support for T-Mobile USA)
  • WiFi b/g
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • GPS
  • Powered by a Qualcomm MSM7200 CPU at 400 MHz
  • 256 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM
  • microSD card
  • 3 megapixel CMOS camera (on the backside)
  • front facing camera for UMTS video telephony

The price hasn’t been announced yet. Availability in other countries unknown, but T-Mobile Germany confirmed the availability for Germany in September.
