Allows for Large Data Storage and Transfer

Increased Capacity Makes Drive Ideal for Road Warriors and Power Users

king2 Kingston Technology Company announced its release of the 8GB DataTraveler II Plus - Migo Edition USB Flash drive (Kingston part # DTII+M/8GB). The robust capacity, along with data synchronization software from Migo makes this the perfect solution for business professionals and consumers who need to share, store and transport large quantities of data.

Migo software gives users the freedom to work on multiple PCs in different locations, using the contents of their own desktop’s email, internet settings, favorites, cookies and history, plus files and folders. Upon return to the user’s host PC, Migo synchronizes the files and settings to keep data current. The password-protected drive thus allows users to view their desktop and access data on almost any guest PC. The drive?s newest feature, Universal Mail Format, allows users to access email among different clients such as Windows Mail, Outlook, and Outlook Express.

“With the growing number of business professionals and consumers working away from their office and home, the need is greater than ever to securely transport and synchronize large quantities of data,” said Robert Halligan, chief operating officer, Migo Software, Inc. “Kingston’s new 8GB DataTraveler II Plus ? Migo Edition now provides the complete solution of high capacity storage with Migo’s state-of-the-art software to keep the data secure and fully synchronized. Users can work effectively along with the comfort and security of using features from their own desktop everywhere they go,” added Halligan.

“We’re proud to continue working with Migo on this drive, the latest addition to Kingston?s family of DataTravelers,” said Mark Akoubian, Flash memory product manager, Kingston. “Migo’s innovative software and our large capacity drive make for an ideal partnership and a win-win for consumers,” Akoubian added.
