engad2 … it’s almost official

We saw it for the 8525 and the Blackjack and now Engadget Mobile is reporting that the AT&T Treo 750 gets Windows Mobile 6 treatment on the sly.  So it appears as if the official versions of all three ROM releases will be coming REAL soon and all of you anxious for the update will soon be able to enjoy the features of Windows Mobile 6.

Of course, if you really can’t wait, you can take your chances for any of these unreleased leaked ROMs but just remember if something goes wrong you are SOL.  Hey, you’ve waited this long, a few more days or weeks should not really make any difference and getting the official version will hopefully get you some added features from the leaked version.

So sit back, enjoy your device with WM5  …. soon it will be changing!!
