gnext-rgb_web Today Glide Mobile expanded file format support for the iPhone including Windows Media Video and Audio. Glide now supports the following video formats for the iPhone: .wmv, .mpg, .mpeg, .avi, .divx, .mov, .mp4 and .3gp. Glide supported audio formats for the iPhone include: .wma .wav, .au, .mp3, .m4a, .aiff, .aac and .ac3.

All supported formats include EDGE and Wi-Fi network versions. “The EDGE network is not ideal for the cutting edge iPhone,” said TransMedia Chairman and CEO, Donald Leka. “Glide compensates by automatically providing lower and higher resolution versions of your video and audio files optimized for both EDGE and Wi-Fi access.”

Glide Mobile Unlocks Your iPhone’s Potential With Powerful Media Sharing and Collaboration Tools

Email and File Sharing: With an assist from Glide, you can now share large video, audio, photo and document files using your mac.com email or alternate email address on your iPhone. The Glide Address Book makes it easy to access your Microsoft Outlook, Mac Address Book and Linux Thunderbird Contacts on your iPhone. You can share up to 12GBs of files in a tiny 5K email and assign access rights to recipients including: View Only (No. of Views), Download (No. of Downloads), Modify and Upload Rights (No. of MBs). Access rights can also be restricted to periods of time, changed or revoked. Using Glide’s Statistics feature, you can keep track of who is viewing, downloading and modifying your files.

Glide makes it easy for iPhone users to share files and collaborate with most smart phone users automatically translating files to the appropriate file format and screen size.

In addition to the iPhone, Glide provides support for the phone and carrier of your choice including: T-Mobile Wing (Supports Streaming Media), BlackBerry Curve 8300, Nokia N95 (Supports Streaming Media), BlackBerry Pearl (8100), BlackBerry 8700, Cingular 8125 (Supports Streaming Media), HP iPAQ, HP hw6510, Motorola Razr V3, Motorola SLVR, Motorola ROKR, Motorola Q (Supports Streaming Media), Nokia 9300, Nokia E62 (Supports Streaming Media), Nokia 6102i (Supports Streaming Media), Nokia 6682 (Supports Streaming Media), Palm Treo 650, Palm Treo 680 (Supports Streaming Media), Palm Treo 700P, Palm Treo 700W (Supports Streaming Media), Palm Treo 750 (Supports Streaming Media), Palm LifeDrive, Samsung Blackjack (Supports Streaming Media), Samsung A707 (Supports Streaming Media), Samsung D807 (Supports Streaming Media), Samsung A920, LG VX8100, LG VX8300, Sony Ericsson w600i, Sony Ericsson w810i, T-Mobile SDA (Supports Streaming Media), and T- Mobile SideKick.
