ue-11-pro I have a set of Ultimate Ears and I absolutely love them, but would I pay $1150 for a pair of ear buds? Heck no. Gizmodo is linking to an article on iLounge featuring these high end Ultimate Ears UE-11…

Ultimate Ears makes some of the best earphones I’ve ever heard, with the high end UE line made of custom molded pieces with multiple drivers inside. The UE-11 Pro raises the bar to having 4 in each ear, broken down into dual subs, a mid and tweeter. Audio sensitivity is 110dB at 1mW, which is very efficient. Available in a variety of colors and designs (including monograms) for $1150.

The UE-11 Ultimate Ears are to replace the UE-10 series that start out at $900. These are for serious audiophiles. They are custom made to fit your ears. I guess for those in the industry, it would be well worth the investment.
