Pharos Offers 30% Discount on Nav-Savvy Smartphones

LATU059 Pharos Science & Applications, Inc., a leading provider of location-based information and services, today announced an agreement with T-Mobile USA that will enable Pharos to give customers up to $200.00 off the purchase of the award-winning Pharos GPS Phone 600 and 600e when purchased with a new T-Mobile contract. This brings the price of the next generation smartphones with Microsoft Live Search and free real-time traffic information, down to $499.95 and $399.95 respectively when combined with a T-Mobile voice and data plan. As a part of this agreement, Pharos becomes a T-Mobile reseller and will sign up new T-Mobile subscribers at Pharos Wireless Web Promotion .

GPS Phone 600

The GPS Phone 600 delivers a powerful combination of navigation, entertainment and mobile office features on an unlocked world phone. Featuring a smart touch screen keyboard and mobile versions of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, the GPS Phone 600 equips mobile professionals with the tools they need to stay connected and productive regardless of location. One of the few smartphones to provide navigation via global positioning and without additional services charges, the GPS Phone 600 delivers voice-prompted, turn by turn directions in real-time through Pharos’ Ostia navigation software and preloaded maps of the US and Canada. This smartphone includes the same powerful features of the GPS Phone 600 but without pre-loaded navigation software, maps, and car kit. MSRP for the GPS

Phone 600e is $599.95. Through the Pharos website, customers can purchase the GPS Phone 600e for $399.95 with a two year voice and data plan from T-Mobile.
