touch Unless the Wi-Fi chip has Bluetooth built into it, if you were on the fence about getting the iPod Touch and Bluetooth is important to you …. forget it!   Gizmodo has a post today confirming that the iPod Touch Definitely Has No Bluetooth! Unbelievable!

Gizmodo linked us to the folks at ifixit who have once again carefully and methodically dissected a device, this time the iPod Touchs prey interesting and there are some great pics showing the process but there is no Bluetooth … why?

Some of what they did find was:

- Audio chip is identical to the iPhone’s
- Samsung memory (like the iPhone’s)
- Processor similar to the iPhone’s
- Display is attached to the iPod with 16 screws (iPhone uses adhesive)
- Display is scratch-resistant, like iPhone
