Apple has announced the next generation of iPod, the iPod Touch! For weeks, we have heard the buzz and the guesses about the capabilities this new generation would carry, and now it’s out.

  • Multi-touch interface, like the iPhone.
  • Form factor very similar to the iPhone, with a gorgeous 3.5 inch display.
  • WiFi built-in.
  • Web browsing (enabled by above) built-in.
  • Shopping the iTunes store directly from your iPod, wirelessly! Amazing!
  • No FM or digital radio tuner. Bummer.
  • No Bluetooth (yet). Another bummer.

More news as it comes out.
