samsung-duos Just in case you are one of those folks that has a need for two devices, each with a different SIM, here is a NEW introduction from Samsung that just might make your load a little lighter.

The Samsung D880 Duos mobile phone has two SIM card slots.  Not necessarily a fresh idea but it is finally an idea from a major manufacturer.  So why would you want a phone that uses 2 SIMs?  A friend of mine in the UK travels a lot and uses two different phones, one for at home and the other on the road while in different countries.

The phone is only 2.5G as far as Internet access goes. It’s a slider with a 2.3-inch QVGA screen, a 3.2MP camera which is pretty nice, an FM radio, Bluetooth with A2DP, and tri-band GSM and EDGE connectivity.

This baby is expensive for what it offers but if the need is there the $700 price tag won’t be an issue I guess.  Expected in to arrive in Europe in November.
