AT&T This is just one of those things you hope will happen when folks are in need.  Special thanks to AT&T for stepping up to the plate for the folks in Southern California

To help California residents affected by the fires stretching across Southern California, AT&T announced that AT&T Wi-Fi service will be offered free of charge at nearly 600 hot spot locations across Riverside, San Diego, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Orange and Ventura counties. Residents will have free access to the AT&T Wi-Fi service 24 hours a day beginning today, Saturday, Oct. 27.

Residents or travelers can use Wi-Fi-enabled devices, such as laptop computers, iPhones or personal digital assistants (PDAs) to connect to the Internet or corporate networks by using any of the AT&T Wi-Fi locations.
