Wi-Fi Detector Shirt, Self-Detects Geeks

Saw this over at Gizmodo last night. I normally laugh in disbelief at most of the Tech Clothing out there. (well, except for ScottEvest stuff) Most of them are gimmicky and this one is no different, but this one does something special. This one detects one of my favorite invisible forces in the RF congested world. It detects WiFi

The Wi-Fi Detector shirt does everything you’d dream it could do: detect Wi-Fi signals and share them, via your chest, with the entire world. Spotting both 802.11b and 802.11g networks, signal strength is displayed in real time. After you are done broadcasting your (super ability?) to the world, just slip the AAA batteries out of the built-in pouch and unhook the decal, and you can wash the sweat away of a hard day’s work of bandwidth theft.

The indicator apparently lights up with the strength of the signal. Walk around looking down at your chest, bars light up, STOP… pull out the laptop and steal WiFi.

You can score one of these at Think Geek, where else would you expect?
