gpspassion1 Arguably the single best feature upgrade on the TyTN II over the TyTN has got to be the integrated GPS. This device has been tested over and over again by a variety of Mobility Sites (no play on words intended!) and passed their scrutiny with flying colors.  GPSPassion.com however, has put the that GPS on the TyTN II to the test and a very good review.

“Having said that, what matters at this point is the GPS performance of the Kaiser compared to a GPS PDAPhone like the Mio A501 based on the reference SiRFStarIII chipset. The results are mixed with lower performance in pedestrian use (with Static Navigation deactivated on the A501) both in dense urban environments and in more open sites, but it remains usable and in driving mode it performs on par with the A501, except in extreme environments like underground sections, areas which you don’t normally encounter very frequently.”

gpspassion This is a well laid out review of the TyTN II with an emphasis on the GPS functionality of the device. The only thing I would disagree on would be the camera comment listed in ”Cons”. I thought the 3mp resolution was quite good and I have taken tons of pictures with my Tilt. Otherwise, I thought it was dead on and well done. Good read!
