5th Birthday Contest – iPod Classic 80

Posted by Chris Leckness on December 17, 2007 – 6:58 pm
closeThis post was published 1 year 10 months 22 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.

normal_ipodclassicvszune2_1 I had a rough end of last week, followed by a weekend mostly in the bed (this damn weather), so I was unable to get this contest up in a timely manner.

Up for grabs is the prop I used in this video. It works still, and I only used it for some battery tests and such. Stevenator is also reviewing the iPod Classic 80 too. Check out his unboxing photos here.

The Prize:
(1) Apple iPod Classic 80 (Photo to the right is the actual prize. Just the iPod though, i’m keeping my Zune 80)

How to win:
3 Parts…

  • Part 1 – Make a post here telling us what player you are using now and why you’d like to have 80gb Hard Drive Player Goodness.
  • Part 2 – Agree not to sell the iPod Classic 80 for at least 3 months :)
  • Part 3 – Keep your eye on the MOBILITYSITE RSS FEED for the winner to be announced.

I will select one winner at random from the entries and announce it in the Mobilitysite RSS Feed.

Ps. We have exciting news coming up to help you keep up with your RSS Feeds.

The rules:

  • 1 post per member, more than one post will disqualify.
  • Staff can participate
  • This device is not “brand” new, lightly used.
  • I reserve the right to change the rules to ensure fairness of the contest.

The Deadline:

  • December 27, 2007

  • I am a 'lifelong' iPod user. After using PDA's and then an Archos JukeBox, I bought an iPod when it first came out.

I don't have to specify since there was only ONE type, and it only connected to the MacOS.

Since then I have also owned a 40GB 2nd gen (before the click-wheel) and then a 1GB shuffle and after those died I now have a iPod Nano ... but the capacity is severely lacking.

I really need a high capacity MP3 player ... but I got laid off in October. I am fine financially due to severance pay, but no MP3's are in my future.
