This year Santa is leveraging the latest in Internet technology to speak directly to children about the true meaning of Christmas. A St. Louis-based company — ChristmasGram.com — has created personalized video messages from Santa that explain the real reason for Christmas — Christ.

The video emails, ordered by parents or other gift-givers, are delivered directly into the child’s home before Christmas via the web or DVD. From the delightful setting of Santa’s Toy Workshop and from his quiet living room at the North Pole, Santa speaks to each child by name, and then
reminds the child of the true meaning of Christmas — telling the story of
the birth of Jesus Christ in a simple, easy-to-understand narrative.

The Christmas Grams, which start at $19.95, include scenes from Santa’s
colorful workshop and his intimate living room, where he speaks directly to
each child using his/her first name. From the comfort of his living room at
the North Pole, Santa recites a beautiful narrative, telling the Christmas
Story — the story of the birth of Jesus. An enhanced version of the
product includes an additional 150 words of personalized content provided
by family or friends in which Santa recognizes a child’s specific good
deeds or interests.

This year, Christmas Gram will donate 25% from each sale to children’s charities such as Toys-for-Tots.
