UPDATE: There seems to be a lot of confusion over at xda on what the end result will yield by developing graphic drivers for the Tilt/TyTN II. Chainfire, the developer of KaiserTweaks has clarified what the drivers will actually do:

“Our Kaisers currently lack drivers for hardware accellerated display functionality. A full set of these drivers would significantly speed up ALL drawing operations, including the user interfaces of normal applications, video playback, games and 3D rendering.”
“There are different parts to these drivers, namely for 2D (user interfaces, video, images) and 3D graphics (games). It is not yet sure even IF these drivers will be available soon, and if they are, which parts will be accellerated.”
“The plan, ofcourse, is to provide a full set. Though this will most likely not include a speed up for the camera.”

I hope this makes more sense than the original statement issued below. Remember that this is not affiliated with TiltSite, MobilitySite, or AximSite in anyway and to donate, pledge or otherwise get involved is at your own risk.

Tired of poor video playback on your Tilt? You may remember a few days ago I posted about a petition asking for signatures to “request” HTC to release an updated Driver for the under utilized processor to improve the graphics on our Tilts. (read about it here). Well now a member over at xda-developers has started a bounty to “encourage” some of the “developers” or really smart people as I call them to develop a driver on their own without the help of HTC or AT&T. I think this is a worth while pledge  drive as a tons of free software and knowledge come out of the members of xda-developers. I am only able to pledge a small with Christmas right on our heels, so don’t be shy, ante in if you can, even if it is a small amount.

Problem: Our Kaisers currently lack proper D3D (direct 3d) drivers and are therefore performing at a fraction of their actual capabilities. This results in poor video playback, poor camera/image performance, and bad performance in video games and other video-intensive software.
As of yet, HTC has not given a reasonable response to our petition, many calls, and emails. They have given us no reason to believe they will be providing a solution at any time in the future.

The solution: We have people here working on getting D3D drivers working on our Kaisers. (See this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=339745)
This thread is here so anyone who wishes can pledge money to the person who brings us the solution. Just post how much you are willing to give and I will add you to this first post.
