I got mine Dec 11. I ordered it on November 23rd. I love it. I was an early adopter and have an original Ipod brick and it took two years to take off and shrink down. It still works fine and interfaces with iTunes just great.

I think it is amazing that after the initial one time Kindle cost, I get lifetime internet access anyplace my evdo device can reach. I describe to friends, it is experimental kinda like having internet explorer 1.0 in this day and age.

I have purchased and read three books, previewed two others. Purchased a newspaper subscription, previewed another newspaper. Downloaded some of my text files via USB and emailed a few to my own kindle account and had them delivered so when I got home, the files were already there. Cute!

I ordered mine on November 20th. Received it on December 5th. A day earlier than they forecasted. It's worth the wait. You will love it.
